West Hill is a village located a couple of miles from Ottery St. Mary in East Devon.

The village has a thriving Junior Football Club that was formed in 1998 and teams are known as the West Hill Wasps or where there is more than one team per age group, the West Hill Hornets.

The Club is affiliated to Devon FA and has just applied for FA Charter Standard status, which is the FA's best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.

All of our coaches have an FA approved coaching qualification and all of them have undergone extended Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks with the FA.

Teams - Season 2008-2009

We currently have 9 teams and these are listed on the left. (There are 2 teams in U10s).  If you are interested in joining, visit the Contacts page and contact the relevant admin manager or coach. If you want to know which age group your child belongs to, the Contacts page shows the relevant school years.

Age Group Format League

U11 9-a-side Exeter Friendly League

U14/U15/U16 11-a-side Juventus League

Sadly, we do not have U13s due to insufficient players. All teams play their matches on Saturday mornings, usually starting at 10 or 10.30am and lasting until about 11.30-12.00pm. U8, U9 and U10 play their home matches at Tipton Playing Fields, the U11 at West Hill Primary, the U14 at Lympstone and the rest at King's School Playing Field in Ottery or Whimple Cricket Club.

The older four age groups train at Colin Tooze on Tuesday nights for an hour between 5.30 and 7.30pm. The U9s and U10s will be training at Colin Tooze on Mondays - details will be provided later.
