Several teams will be starting training on Saturday 16 August. Please contact your manager if you have not heard anything yet

Charter Standard Club Confirmed

We have just heard that we have been successful in our application for Charter Standard status. That is great news for us as a Club and is the FA's official recognition that the Club is run in accordance with best practice in terms of coaching football, child protection etc.   (posted 2 July 2008)

U11s Plate Winners !!

The U11 Wasps won the Exeter Friendly League Plate Competition on 10 May 2008 at Finals' Day in Crediton. The game was a close fought affair, with Culm United having the better of possession but West Hill the better of the chances created. The Wasps won 3-2 on penalties after a 0-0 draw and you can read about it here. Many congratulations to the U11s on their achievement.

Our U13s, Champions of Division 2 of the Juventus League (see below), so nearly made it a double by winning the Juventus League Cup. Drawing 1-1 at full time, they went down 2-1 to a late goal in extra time. Shame to miss out on the double but a fantastic season nonetheless. You can read the match report here.

The U9 Hornets played in the Exeter Friendly League Plate Competition, but sadly lost their final 3-1 to Stoke Hill. The game was closer than the score line suggests with Stoke Hill taking a 2-0 lead against the run of play. Such is football and sometimes your luck is not in. Congratulations all the same for making it to the Final.

U13s League Champions !! (April 2008)

With Alphington Wolves on 47 points and West Hill on 46 points, and both teams meeting on the final day of the season, only a win would secure the League Championship for West Hill. You can read about the 2-1 away victory for West Hill here. Many congratulations to the team.

FA Charter Standard

We have just applied for FA Charter Standard status. All our coaches are qualified to FA standards and all have undergone an Extended Criminal Records Bureau check. Charter Standard is the FA's benchmark that lets parents and players know that the Club offers a high standard of coaching, has good administration and financial controls and puts the safety and welfare of our children above all else.
